| Good Bye to Spanky,... |
 Mast cells were forming tiny bumps all under his skin - as if he had hives all over.  Of course it was obvious that Euthanasia would truely be the last gift we could give him. He is flying after balls in warm summer fields now, and I know he will wait for Eddie and me at the bridge. Kati |

 Hayden was pulled as an abuse case, in Kansas, he had been beated repeatedly wih the buckle end of a belt, Neighbors said they heard a dog screaming, .....Hayden made it into rescue, but suffered a ruptured mass cell, the resulted in his death,...

 The worst nightmare that I could ever imagine happening to me occurred today. It appears that after I left for work Elton found somewhere to get under the fence and got out on the road. When I came home from work I found his cold little body laying in the grass in front of the house.

| Buddy Alderfer |
  Buddy Alderfer, who died 12/24/05. His life was way too short, and we miss him terribly. He loved to run, and was poetry in motion. He was also very smart, patient and gentle, without a mean bone in his body. He seemed to have a wisdom and appreciation that was born of sadness from a troubled past yet full of joy and gratitude for the love and life he had finally found. Erin |
